Yes, it may rely on "hidden switches" a tad bit too much but it held my interest. The developers are very helpful and will ring in if you need assistance (which I did when I could not see one of the switches to save my damned life!). A couple of the solutions to the puizzles are a little contrived, and others are so simple you wonder why you're bothering, but their heart is definitely in the right place and I look forward to seeing what else they come up with. There is some talent here!. In the top 5 of VR puzzle escape the room games, much better than some of the trash that's out there. Clever puzzles, great graphics, excellent setting and great voice work.Overall the eccentric millionaire inventor story works and you do get immersed in the world. Only things that bothered me was the teleport using a trigger, so used to the touchpad that I kept pressing it well into the game. Had to think to pull the trigger but that's hardly a problem and with more time would get used to it.Recommend to all those who like the puzzle, escape the room games and those who have always fancied being held captive by eccentric millionaires as their plaything. Getting hard just thinking about it, anyway if you're an eccentric millionaire inventor, call me.. I wanted to enjoy this game so much, but found myself just wanting it to be over. I almost quit multiple times, but saw it through to the end.The production value is top notch. Amzing graphics, great sound, cool steampunk look, interesting narrator\/host. It's clear a lot of hard work went into this game. However, I just found the game to be a bit boring and very frustrating. You cannot interact with much of anything in the rooms. It's mostly just static content. You really have no idea what you are looking for. So, you find yourself eventually just walking around waving your tool until it turns green. You might do this for 20 minutes and then finally find some obscure item. Often times when you use the item, nothing happens, so you start the search again until you find some other hard-to-locate item. The puzzles themselves are pretty easy. The game is mostly just about finding where things are hidden.I found the controls a bit odd as well. Left trigger teleports and right trigger picks up and drops off a single item. As far as I could tell, there is no turn left or right, so you phyically have to turn around in circles. I had to detangle my headset cable multiple times duing the game.. Great game! The puzzles had just the right amount of challenge. I had to get a hint online for one puzzle, but other than that I managed to work my way through to the end on my own.The graphics look great, and the voice acting is excellent.Only two (very minor) criticisms. The teleport arc should be visible, especially since the target would sometimes be outside of the play area so you didn't know it was there at all. Also, using a table in the room as a kind of pseudo-inventory meant a lot of extra running back and forth.Still, those are minor quibbles that don't detract from a very enjoyable experience. I'm hoping the game is successful enough that we'll get a sequel.. Excellent game! A+ hopefully there will be part 2 coming out as well!
